Free Movies on Tubi // A Streaming Guide

It’s summer, and it’s hot out. Stay indoors and catch a good horror movie. In fact, give your wallet a break as well and watch something totally free, streaming right now on Tubi. When isn’t a good time to watch a horror movie? Especially now in this sweltering heat. All of these people would have done better if they had stayed home with the AC.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Directed by Tobe Hooper

That’s right, the original classic is streaming right now for free on Tubi. Five friends head out to rural Texas only to be confronted by a chainsaw-wielding maniac. They should have kept from snooping around.

The Lost Boys (1987)
Directed by Joel Schumacher

A newly divorced mother and her two teenage sons move to the murder capital of California and discover vampires to boot. Summer shouldn’t be this difficult. Slap on some glittery blood, and you’ve got yourself a very bad time.

Tucker & Dale vs Evil (2010)
Directed by Eli Craig

Tucker and Dale want to vacation in their remote cabin home, but these college kids’ dead bodies just keep piling up. I recently rewatched this and it still holds the same charm.

Sleepaway Camp (1983)
Directed by Robert Hiltzik

The kids are off to summer camp, and they’re not alright. Cousins Angela and Ricky are just trying to have a good time over summer break, but suspicious accidents and then deaths plague their camp. This one’s got a killer of an ending and one that will stick with you for a long time.

Hatchet (2006)
Directed by Adam Green

A group of tourists in New Orleans settles in for a boat ride on the last night of their lives. There are possibly some survivors. Robert Englund and Tony Todd add some spark to this slasher. Don’t expect much axe-wielding, which is strange for a movie titled Hatchet. Luckily, there’s plenty of creative kills.

There you have it. Five great horror movies to help keep you indoors this sweltering summer. Tubi has so much more to offer for free that it was difficult to narrow down a short list. Check them all out at your leisure.
