They said found-footage was a trend, and it would never last. Well, the subgenre that forever changed the game in horror is still alive and kicking. With The Creep Tapes Season 3 kicking off in September, and The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity IPs getting new installments in 2027, it is safe to say found-footage isn’t going anywhere. Angus (Charlie Robb) is an aspiring content creator who retreats to a cabin in the woods far away from civilization. On his quest to shake off his demons and rebuild himself, he discovers an ancient force is lurking about in the woods. Loner is a slow burn and a blend of psychological and cosmic horror, with great, unique visuals in the found-footage format. Charlie Robb is not only one of the directors, but he delivers an excellent performance as the lead, Angus.
Go to Sleep (2026)

Go to Sleep is a FoundTV original, starring Chris Vander Kaay (.ask and Peak Form). We follow Sam, who recently separated from his partner and is obsessed with AI. He adjusts to living alone and discovers he is sleepwalking. He starts recording himself at night to catch his activities and notices questionable behavior…and the presence of a mysterious figure. This film takes on a less-is-more approach, but delivers a captivating performance from Vander Kaay, and a scene that will have you STRESSED.
Frogman (2023)

Dallas (Nathan Tymoshuk) is a filmmaker who’s going nowhere in his career. He decides that with the help of his friends, he is going to return to Loveland, Ohio, where he first got a glimpse of the legendary Frogman, and get irrefutable proof of his existence. Frogman follows the found footage formula perfectly, setting up an interesting story and likable characters. Then it kicks into full gear in the last act and takes you on a wild experience that makes the entire journey of Frogman worth it. You will finish the movie knowing why Frogman FUCKS!
