I’m a sucker for free, as I’m sure many of you are. So I put together a little list for you to enjoy some free horror online. And I’m not talking about streaming on that service you’re paying for already, therefore it’s kinda sorta free. This is Tubi free horror here. Oh, and you better check it out now before it’s gone!
Hereditary
Yeah, this movie ends up on a lot of watchlists for a reason. But I bet you didn’t know it was available totally free. Well, not for long. If you have been putting off watching this gem, head over now before it disappears off the streaming service. Missing out on Toni Collette’s performance would be a sin.
Happy Death Day 2U
A fun sequel to a freaky time loop situation still gone wrong, Happy Death 2U revisits Tree and her group of friends as they try to stop the killings all over again. If you liked Happy Death Day, you’ll enjoy this sequel even more, according to Rotten Tomatoes. Check it out, then let us know what you think!
The Mist
This movie goes hard. A dad and his son hole up in a supermarket while a mysterious mist overtakes the local area. You have got scary creatures to contend with, and of course, horrible people, too. As always. Check out The Mist if you like an occasional gut punch now and then. It won’t disappoint.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Keanu Reeves with a surfer accent putting on an English accent? Come on, I’m so there! You need to watch this Dracula as it is one of the best versions by far. I kid around with our precious Keanu (he admittedly was cast wrong here) but the movie is a faithful depiction. Don’t let the 1992 release year deter you. Francis Ford Coppola directed a classic for all of us to enjoy.
Misery
Totally wasn’t intentional, but here we are with two Stephen King adaptations. Misery, to this day, has a way of crawling into my headspace and making me feel both uncomfortable and thankful for my lack of talent. A mega fan holds an author hostage so that he can write her a book. Oh yeah, nothing can go wrong here.
And there you have it, the perfect streaming guide for these last few days of May. Run, do not walk to Tubi and get these flicks queued up. Free doesn’t come along very often. But when it does, I must admit, Tubi knows what it’s doing.
Dalia De Leon
I love horror because it's a comfort genre for me. I have many labels in life which means I'm busy but never too busy to pop a scary or genre flick on the tube to enjoy. In addition to life and writing for Horror Movie Blog, I am the former co-host to the late Nightmare on 5th Street: A horror movie podcast. May she rest in peace. You can find my reviews here on HMB and TheCherryPicks.com.
