‘Attack of the Queerwolf!’ Reunites for Wildfire Relief Special

The last few years have felt like a neverending stress test. It is impossible to ignore that there seems to be a new awful thing every day. However, one of the few silver linings has been watching many of our favorite people pull together to try to do some good amid the constant chaos. When the recent Los Angeles wildfires left an overwhelming number of families without anything, GoFundMe pages were launched, spreadsheets were shared, and countless familiar faces showed up to do whatever they could.

This need to help people impacted by this tragedy is why Attack of the Queerwolf! has reunited to raise funds for Los Angeles wildfire relief. The special episode costs $5, and all proceeds will be split between Pasadena Humane and the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund.

We Used To Be A Society

In case you missed Attack of the Queerwolf! during the original run, it was a wildly popular show hosted by Brennan Klein, Michael Kennedy, and THEE Nay Bever. Attack of the Queerwolf was known for its loving (and comical) dissection of horror movies. The show still has a dedicated following even though their last reunion special came out in 2022. So, fans are happy to see them back together for a good cause.

Because I am the most annoying fan of Attack of the Queerwolf!, I caught up with Bever to ask how it felt to reunite with her former co-hosts. Bever said, It was so fun getting back together to record after two years. It felt like no time had passed. I think so fondly of Queerwolf and what we created with that show, and it was an honor to do another episode after so long.”

Where Are They Now?

If you have already purchased the Attack of the Queerwolf! episode and want to support each of the host’s individual endeavors, this is a great time to tap in.

You can keep up with Nay Bever weekday mornings on Today In Gay. Bever serves as an executive producer and co-hosts the show, and it is available wherever you listen to podcasts. There is also a Substack you can subscribe to for bonus content and to join the community.

We also recommend you check out Heart Eyes when it lands in theaters on February 7. The film is co-written by Michael Kennedy and is one of our most anticipated movies of the year. We encourage you to catch that in theaters instead of catching feelings this winter.
