Our 24th pick is the 2014 Austrian psychological horror film Goodnight Mommy, written and directed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala. Twin boys Lukas and Elias (Lukas and Elias Schwarz) anxiously await the arrival of their mother (Susanne Wuest) at their beautiful, secluded countryside home. However, once home, the boys begin to suspect that the woman who came home, whose face is bandaged from surgery, is an imposter.

On our 23rd day of Halloween, we’re going with Drag Me to Hell (2009). The whole damn movie. Yep, the entire thing. Co-written by Sam Raimi and Ivan Raimi and directed by Sam Raimi, you knew it would be a good time. And it’s Sam Raimi’s birthday, this 23rd day of Halloween!

It’s the 22nd, and today’s WTF movie moments pick is Gerald’s Game. If you want to see an adaptation of any book let alone Stephen King, you need to go in fresh and do your best not to compare and go in hating on it. Because I promise you sometimes you are treated to a wonderful gift like I was with Gerald’s Game.

It’s the 21st already?! I present to you M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit. Yes, you read that correctly. Perhaps this film does not come to mind so quickly when thinking of horror that made you want to cover your eyes or scream, “Oh dear god, no!”

This year, we’re celebrating with a different movie pick each day that made us audibly gasp, “WHAT THE FUCK?!” On the 20th day of Halloween, we’ll choose just one from the 2nd Hatchet film- the death of Reverend Zombie, our beloved Tony Todd.

Our 19th film pick is Hereditary. It was quite the movie experience for me, and I have a personal story about why this one hit me hard. Thank god for Ari Aster’s loopy storytelling to take me out of that into another depressing and shocking world.

Today’s movie is a special anniversary pick! You read that correctly; our 18th Halloween pick, Re-Animator, was originally released on the 18th of October!

Our 17th pick in the world of what the fuckery is…Men. Could you almost hear the tone I used? Men. Oh yeah, that’s the name of the movie. Not just men in general. I mean… This 2022 British folk horror is written and directed by Alex Garland and stars Jessie Buckley.

Well, well, well…what do we have here? Why, a worm baby, of course. Have you seen David Lynch’s 1977 Eraserhead? Do you want to see Eraserhead? I remember doing my best to have everyone I know see the glory that is the worm baby in this film.
